Haiti

June 2017

My first trip to Haiti was in June 2013. Here is what I know now that I didn’t know then…I was never ever going to recover from experiencing Haiti. I was going to meet people there who would change how I see the world, myself, God, family…everything. That God’s plans for our lives - the things he wants us to experience with him - are so much grander than our minds can imagine. Mostly, that even when I couldn’t breathe from crying so hard and thought I would surely die - that I would breathe normally again…and that what God broke open that day was a canyon worth of scar tissue on my heart…and it was ALL for my own good. He loved me enough to let me hurt.

From my heart to yours, I hope they bring you joy, maybe even challenge what you think or believe about Haiti, and quite possibly even motivate you to act – give/shop/visit.

Enjoy.

Haiti

June 2013

My first trip to Haiti. To read my writings then, you would think I had taken on the body of a cat being dangled above a tub full of water. I was TERRIFIED and BEWILDERED.

From my heart to yours, I hope they bring you joy, maybe even challenge what you think or believe about Haiti, and quite possibly even motivate you to act – give/shop/visit.

Enjoy.

Haiti

March 2014

I took my Sis with me (her first time to Haiti); we explored parts of Haiti I had not seen on previous trips – from the lush mountains to the beautiful beaches. This is the thing about Haiti, it just keeps giving and just when you think of you have seen the most beautiful site or the had the most powerful interaction, you turn the corner and it hits you afresh.

 Enjoy!

Israel

June 2016

This is my first trip to Israel. It took 29 hours of travel to get from the house to the first hotel looking over the Sea of Galilee. I believe I took over 1000 photos over 10+ days. There was a story with every step we took. There are not enough words or enough film to do the Holy Land justice. I will also never read the Bible the same again; I read it in 3D now.

 Enjoy!
